Though, still in its nascent stage, the college has opened new vistas for the public, especially girls hailing from rural areas in the vicinity, realising their dream of higher education. The opening of this college has given a boost to women empowerment through the successful education campaign “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao.” We can claim with a sense of satisfaction and pride that about 80% of the registered students in the college are girls.

The college offers multiple subjects of one’s choice in Humanities, Commerce and Science under the annual system introduced by Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla and Sardar Patel University Mandi. In the first academic session, a record 199 students were admitted to the first semester of Arts and Commerce streams. In academic session 2022-23, 584 students took admission in Science, Commerce and Arts.
