Gender sensitization is the process of increasing awareness and understanding of gender issues and promoting gender equality. It is especially important in rural college, where traditional gender roles and norms may be more prevalent. We are focusing on focal issues such as:

• Educating students and staff about gender issues
• Creating a gender-inclusive environment
• Promoting gender equality in the classroom 
• Supporting gender-sensitive student organizations
• Engage with the community
• Work with local organizations.
