Eligibility Conditions
A student who has passed 10+2 examination or an equivalent course from a recognized board can get admission in the first year of three years Under Graduate Course if she/he fulfills the eligibility conditions given below:
- An applicant must not be more than 23 years (25 years for girls) of age as on first 1st However, in case of overage students, the Vice Chancellor may allow age relaxation up to six months. In case of SC/ST students, relaxation in age up to three years is allowed as per rules.
- (a) Minimum pass percentage for admission in different faculties is given below:
- Bachelor of Arts: 33%
- Bachelor of Commerce: 45% (40% for those who have passed 10+2 with Commerce, however for girls, the minimum pass percentage is 33%).
- Bachelor of Science: 45% (10+2 Non-Medical)
(b) A relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST students will be given to Commerce and Science faculty.
(c) A student seeking admission in B.A. first year with Mathematics as one of the subject should have either 45% marks in aggregate or 45% marks in 10+2 level.
(d) A student seeking in B.Com. First year must have studied Commerce or Mathematics or Economics at 10+2 level.
